The Instructional Technology personnel includes a Division Director, eight Regional Instructional Technology Consultants, a statewide School Library Media Consultant and the NC Wise Owl web master. Neill Kimrey, the Division Director, joined the DPI staff in October 2008. He served as the Director of Technology, and subsequently CTO, at Stanly County Schools. The Regional Instructional Technology Consultants are listed below with a link to their Region pages. Gerry Solomon provides leadership and assistance for school library-media programs. Dan Sparlin manages the NC WiseOwl web site and provides professional development about NC Wiseowl and Copyright.
